What I collect, and why
When you send me a message
The contact form asks for your name and your email address and, if you choose to give them, your company, a description of what you are working on and the kind of help you need.
I use this information only to reply to you and to follow up on a possible engagement. The legal basis is taking steps at your request before entering into a contract, and my legitimate interest in answering enquiries.

Like any website, the server that hosts this site may record technical information such as your IP address, the date and time of your visit, the pages requested and your browser type. It is used to keep the site running and secure.
To complete: confirm what the hosting provider logs, and for how long
Cookies and tracking
This site does not set cookies and does not use analytics, advertising or social media trackers.
Fonts and images are served from this site itself, so loading a page does not call any third-party service.
The only thing kept in your browser is your language choice, saved when you switch between English and French so that the site opens in that language next time. It stays on your device and is not sent anywhere.

- Formspree, Inc. (United States) delivers the messages sent through the contact form.
- To complete: hosting provider hosts this website.

How long I keep it
I keep messages for as long as it takes to answer you and follow up, and delete them at the latest To complete: retention period.
If we work together, the data needed for the contract and for accounting is kept for the periods required by law.
Your rights
Under the GDPR you can ask me to access, correct or delete your data, to restrict or object to its use, and to receive it in a portable format.
Write to me at To complete: email address or use the contact form. I will answer within one month.
You can also lodge a complaint with the Belgian Data Protection Authority (Autorité de protection des données / Gegevensbeschermingsautoriteit), Rue de la Presse 35, 1000 Brussels, dataprotectionauthority.be.
Security
The contact form sends your message over an encrypted connection, and access to the messages is limited to me.
